Privacy policy

2. Principles

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies in a particular case, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only process the data needed for the purpose concerned.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no social media plugins, and loads no content from third parties. The film is hosted on our own server. We make no automated individual decisions and do no profiling.

The links to online shops are plain links. No data is sent to the shops when you visit this website; only when you click a link does the shop's operator process your data, under its own privacy policy.

3. Visiting the website (server logs)

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, the following data is recorded in server log files for technical reasons:

• IP address of the requesting device (stored by IONOS in anonymised form)
• date and time of access
• requested file or page and amount of data transferred
• website from which the access was made (referrer)
• browser and operating system

This data is used solely to operate the website securely and reliably and to analyse errors. It is not combined with other data. IONOS deletes the log files after eight weeks at the latest.

4. Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide: name, e-mail address, your topic and message and, if given, your company. Form data is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS) and delivered by e-mail to info@beautysecrets.agency. Our mailbox is also operated by IONOS SE in Germany.

We use this data only to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to initiate or carry out a business relationship. It is not shared with third parties. We delete enquiries no later than two years after the last contact, unless they are business correspondence, which we keep for ten years under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations.

5. Legal bases (where the GDPR applies)

We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and enquiries via the contact form or e-mail to answer them or to prepare a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

6. Transfers abroad

Personal data is processed only in Germany (hosting and e-mail at IONOS SE). According to the Swiss Federal Council, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection. The website embeds no content or services from third parties; fonts, images and the film are also loaded directly from our server.

7. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the right to access the personal data we process about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict its processing, to object, and to receive or transfer your data. Please contact info@beautysecrets.agency.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch, and, where the GDPR applies, the data protection authority of your country of residence in the EU/EEA.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The whole website is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

9. Changes

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
