Accessibility statement

Our aim

This website should be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. It was designed to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, which the European standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) refer to. We have also taken the additional WCAG 2.2 criteria into account.

Compliance status

The website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The following content is not yet fully accessible:

• Film: it has no speech, only music. There is no audio description; instead, a text version below the film and a description track describe the pictures and on-screen text.
• Press articles: the magazine and website features are shown as images and only briefly described. We are happy to send you the text on request.
• Retailer information (PDF): available in German only. The same information is on this page in the “Retail” section.

What we have done

• Everything can be used with a keyboard, focus is clearly visible, and a link leads straight to the content.
• Headings, navigation areas and tables are marked up correctly; images have text alternatives.
• Text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1; the page can be zoomed to 400 % without horizontal scrolling.
• Motion is switched off when your device uses “reduce motion”; there are no time limits.
• The contact form has labels, a note on required fields and error messages that name the field concerned.
• The language of every page and of quotes in other languages is marked; the website is available in German, English and French.

How we tested

Self-assessment of 29 September 2026: automated testing with axe-core, tests with the keyboard, at 400 % zoom and with reduced motion, and measurement of colour contrast. After the revision of 6 October 2026 (film watch pages, picture and scene descriptions, this statement as its own page) re-checked with axe-core: no violations on the homepage, the film page, the privacy policy and this page.
